Agree...Superficial spreading melanoma.

Agree, melanoma, vertical growth phase. Focal, regression present.

Difficult lesion. Last image is worrisome with nests showing confluence in the lower part of the lesion. I favour nevoid melanoma too.

I would put this in to the odd naevus category (we are thinking is this a naevoid melanoma).  No overtly worrying features for a metastatic potential.  MELTUMP, low risk for metastasis.  Ensure completely excised.

We went with Dr. Carr's diagnosis. Atypical nevus and some worrisome features--but overall, the constellation of findings did not (in our opinion) confirm the diagnosis of melanoma. Recommended complete excision.
