Histiocytoid leprosy vs histiocytoma (histiocytic variant of dermatofibroma) for Wade fite stain. Clinical correlation favors the first possibility.

Tendinous xanthomas vs. lipid laden dermatofibromas. Histiocytoid leprosy is a nice suggestion but I do not think that this variant comes localized to the fingers. Wade fite will verify.
