    Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Singapore Society of Pathology, We would like to invite you to attend the 1st Singapore Pathology Conference and 3rd Asia Pacific Symposium on Advanced Molecular Technologies (APSAMT). The meeting will be held from October 19 -20 2012 at the Waterfront Grand Copthorne Hotel, Singapore.

In this historic first national pathology conference, it is an opportune time and place to establish new relationships and renew old ties with fellow colleagues in the field. We have much to share from our broad experiences and through the networking, we can share best practices to enhance our respective specialties. We are planning an exciting scientific program to explore the latest findings in the various fields in pathology – histopathology, forensic pathology, haematology, microbiology, biochemistry and molecular pathology.

In addition, we are very pleased to host the 3rd Asia Pacific Symposium on Advanced Molecular Technologies (APSAMT) in conjunction with the 1st Singapore Pathology Conference. This is the first time the APSAMT symposium is held in Singapore and we are proud to be co-organising it with the Hong Kong Society for Molecular Diagnostic Sciences and the Chinese American Association for Clinical Microbiology. Molecular Pathology is a rapidly progessing field encompassing many disciplines within Pathology so it is appropriate to place a high emphasis on this area in our conference.

I look forward to seeing you at the conference.

    Dr LING Moi-Lin
    Chairman
    Organising Committee
