Description: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: •Discuss current practice guidelines and emerging diagnostic strategies for the screening of pigmented lesions •Critically evaluate invasive versus non-invasive techniques used in the diagnosis of various skin lesions •Assess and implement evidence-based procedures for proper melanoma detection •Distinguish between melanocytic and non-melanocytic tumors with the aid of non-invasive imaging modalities •Apply dermoscopic, confocal, and histologic findings in order to detect and treat skin cancer most effectively
