    DAY

    16 July 2012      21 July 2012

For the first time in the history of its activity, ESCCA is proud to present its Summer School, an educational activity which represents the answer to the many requests expressed by its members.

The Summer School will be held every year in a different European Country, and will host two parallel courses lasting a week, the first dedicated to an international audience (International Course), and the second dedicated to a local one (Local Course). The International Course will be held in English, the local Course will be held in the local language. The program of the Courses will be the same, and will cover all the aspects of basic Cytometry, making the attendants ready to face the International Cytometry Certification Examination. Moreover, the program will cover data analysis, use and comparison of commercial software, and real data review, being consequently fit for Operators responsible for final results as well.

This year the ESCCA Summer School will take place on July 16-21 in Urbino, a lovely medieval town in the middle of Italy. The Courses will be held in the classrooms of the local University; hands on exercises will be scheduled in wet laboratories equipped with sorters and analysers, and computer rooms will be available for lessons on data analysis.
