    Provision of optimal health care for women requires that the health care provider be adept in the management of
    difficult vulvovaginal and cervical conditions such as abnormal cervical cytology screening tests, recurrent candidiasis, lichen sclerosus, introital dyspareunia, recurrent HPV or herpes virus lesions, and vulvar and
    cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN and CIN). This course has been expanded to include new and evolving information about anal neoplasia. The advanced course will include lectures on oral and anal cancer and the relationship of HPV to these entities. This ASCCP advanced course best serves those licensed physicians and advanced practice clinicians who are intermediate to advanced in the level of knowledge and treatment of vulvar, vaginal, and cervical disease.

    MEPSA Annual Scientific Meetings are usually held in November/December and in alternate years, the conference is now held in conjunction with the Australian Health & Medical Research Conference.
    The next Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Sydney in conjunction with the 6th Asia and Oceania Congress on Photobiology.

    The AOCP meeting has has 3 major themes dedicated to the biological effects of light on Human Health (Medicine), Plants and Vision. These will run as a series of concurrent symposium from Mon 11-Wed 13th November. MEPSA members who submit an abstract may be considered for an oral presentation in one of these prestigious symposia. For the non-photobiologists, there is an additional[i]“MEPSA only”[/i] day on Thursday 14th November. This will conclude mid-afternoon, which should simplify flight bookings for those leaving Sydney that evening.
    The AOCP gala dinner will be held at the spectacular Taronga Zoo on the evening of Tuesday 12th November. This is included in your registration. The welcome reception on the Sunday evening is also included in your registration. The annual MEPSA dinner (location yet to be finalised) will cost an additional $60 and will be held on the evening of Wednesday 13th November (after the AGM).
