[b] Overview[/b]
After a successful program last year, [b]this conference will again combine both anatomic pathology for three days and clinical pathology for two days[/b].
The goal of this 5-day conference is to provide the most updated knowledge available to private and academic practicing pathologists and trainees in multiple subspecialties, including a full-day focus on pulmonary pathology followed by four days of topics in anatomic and clinical pathology. The course will include presentations and case discussions on non-neoplastic and neoplastic pulmonary pathology by our renowned visiting faculty members, Drs. Kevin Leslie and Maxwell L. Smith from Mayo Clinic Scottsdale.
The rest of the course consists of short lectures and case-oriented discussions lead by distinguished faculty from the University of Utah and guest presenters on anatomic and clinical pathology topics. Faculty consists of clinicians involved in patient care, clinical pathologists, surgical pathologists, and clinical laboratory scientists. Discussion of timely topics by faculty and participants ensures that this course will be informative, interesting, and relevant. Cases are selected to represent common and/or difficult diagnostic problems.
