A benign adnexal tumour of sweat gland origin.  This term covers both papillary eccrine and papillary apocrine adenomata, as both varieties can be seen in the same tumour.

Papillary architecture with sclerotic cores.  Columnar lining showing apocrine features in places.  Also shows psammoma bodies (laminated calcium deposits)
