Case 979  25.3.14  (M. Hurt)  F  44 enlarging lesion centre lower lip 

Nice physiological parakeratosis with pallid Malpighian layer.  Melan-A shows no increase in melanocytes.  Masson-Fontana shows increased basal layer pigmentation with sparing of supra-papillary plates, a typical LMM sign.
