Miasis is a good differential diagnosis, but in Miasis you cannot find the eggs that you can see in Tungiasis.

I think also the larva of myiasis may be mistaken with the tunga when the tunga is in the dermis. Don't think sarcoptes scapii mite is a ddx as it looks completely different and is only seen in stratum corneum.

I think the tick looks slightly similar to tungiasis, but only its mouth part extends to the upper dermis
