Most of you are correct with the diagnosis of rheumatoid nodule. Although it is difficult, I do not see any pleomorphism which would suggest a diagnosis of epithelioid sarcoma. In fact, I think that this differential diagnosis is over emphasized in the literature. I have not encountered a case of either where there really was any difficulty in coming to the correct diagnosis particularly when the cellular population is carefully scrutinized.
