Well done the diagnosis is Kaposi's sarcoma. the patient had patches and plaques.

KS, plaque. I saw some suggestion of granular clumps in the high power shot that made me think of bacillary angiomatosis in this setting. Dr. McKee--I agree w/your sentiment about NYC, but am partial because I was born and raised here. I'm happy to know that others appreciate this place too. Brooklyn has risen as a hotspot and artisanal center, I'd love the opportunity to say hello when you are next in town. I most enjoy Macy's firework displays on 7/4!

Slit like vascular spaces inbetween colllagen bundles, some lined by plump endothelial cells, extravasated RBC's and hemosiderin, patch stage (early) Kaposi sarcoma..
