As I have to go out this am, I am giving the answer early. You are all correct. The diagnosis is Sweet's syndrome. There may well be atypical cells in the infiltrate. Unfortunately, I do not have any information about the patient's hematological status. The subepidermal edema is very marked in this example and in some cases, blisters develop which may result in confusion with neutrophil-rich subepidermal blistering conditions.

Sweet syndrome... In the third picture, I can see besides neutrophils other mononuclear cells with some atypia. Could be Sweet syndrome associated to mieloid leukemia?
