Well done everyone. This is indeed a nevoid melanoma. Notice that the features are quite subtle and could easily have missed at scanning magnification. It is always important that you look at seemingly benign nevi carefully otherwise sooner or later you will miss a nevoid melanoma. This picture comes from the first case that I diagnosed. The first that I know (in retrospect) that I encountered, I misdiagnosed as a compound nevus!! I was shown the recurrence and then reviewed the original slide. A lesson never to be forgotten.

I would favour naevoid melanoma as well.Mild pleomorphism a few mitoses and nested appearance

Im not sure, maybe a melanoma. There are 3 mitosis and i see some brown pigment to the left corner.
