I agree that there is often considerable overlap between steatocystoma and eruptive vellous hair cyst. Because of the sebaceous gland in the wall of the cyst, I am more inclined to view the lesion as primarily a steatocystoma which can sometimes have vellus hairs within the lumen but I fully accept that it could also be regarded as an overlap cyst. Keratin expression has been used to distinguish these two entities but I have no personal experience.

Lovely case. The presence of transversly cut hair shafts and laminated keratin is typical of eruptive vellus hair cysts. However, they usually don't have sebaceous glands in the wall which is a feature of steatocystoma multiplex. There r hybrid cysts that show features of both.
