Spindle cell tumors are always difficult and require immunohistochemistry. However, Figure 4 does give a clue to the diagnosis owning to the perivascular accentuation. This is a malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor. It emphasizes the fact that the typical herring bone pattern is often not a fibrosarcoma as your differential diagnoses show.

Malignant spindle cell proliferation with a herring-bone pattern. Fibrosarcomatous DFSP vs fibrosarcoma (which I favor the previous). CD34 and FISH including t(17;22) may be helpful.
