Melanocytic lesions often seem to be a problem. At low power there is a wedge-shaped infiltrate with heavy pigmentation at the base. The retraction artifact in the top right picture with the giant cell is certainly spitzoid. The bottom left shows the superficial dermal component composed of epithelioid cells with focal atypia and occasional clear cells. The bottom right is towards the middle of the lesion where there is a more spindled morphology, a central mitosis and one or two dendritic cells although these are hard to make out. The lesion is a deep penetrating nevus. There could be an argument that is a combined variant with superficial spitzoid morphology. Mitotic figures (albeit sparse) are almost always seen in DPN and focal atypia common. Have a great weekend.

I don´t see mytosis, and cells aren´t too pleomorphic. Moreover this patient has 11 years old! I bet spitz.

Given the cytology & the deep pigment synthesis, I'm saying minimal-deviation melanoma or naevoid melanoma.
