Male 13 years, yellowish plaque - cobble stone surface on back: lumbar. ?Xanthogranulomas. ?Seb naevus. ?Connective tissue naevus.

We all agree with a connective naevus or naevus mucinosis in this particular case. The young man was otherwise well (so not Hunter's syndrome but thank you for that suggestion). I guess this could be a somatic mutation in the handling of the dermal mucopolysaccharides akin to the enzyme defect in Hunter's).

Unremarkable epidermis and band-like upper dermal mucin deposition associated with mild increase of fibroblasts. First image show what appear to be clusters of adipocytes or?? artifactual spaces, higher power may help. DD nevus lipomatosis superficialis and sclermyxedema
