Wow! This case has proven to be quite problematical. I suppose the ease with which you recogize the condition depends upon how often you have seen it. The clinical history is helpful as is the admixture of vessels, inflammatory cells (including plasma cells) and spindled cells. Patch stage Kaposi's sarcoma is the correct diagnosis

This is a vascular lesion (as opposed to melanocytic). I imagine lymphangioma to have larger vascular spaces. The last two pictures show small vessels surrounding ectatic vascular spaces. Is this the "promontory sign" of early Kaposi sarcoma?
