Thought of white sponge nevus, can not think of something else,, especially with the clinical picture, but the comment of Dr Carr makes me feel that we r wrong :-) will wait and c !!!!!!!

Smokeless tobacco keratosis is a differential diagnosis. An history of tobacco chewing must be obtained.

hairy leukoplakia (hi power shows intranuclear inclusion). otherwise, in clinical setting I thought of tobacco-induced leukoplakia

Well done Marie. The 3rd picture shows ballooned keratinocytes. The nuclei demonstarte beading of the chromatin and there is a possible Cowdry inclusion. The diagnosis was confirmed with in situ htbridization. This is a case courtesy of Sook-Bin Woo, MD.
