[color=#231F20]Non-encapsulated tumour extending into the subcutis – Spindle shaped cells in collagenous stroma - Rounded collections of spindle shaped cells and collagen – [b]Neurofibroma.[/b] If the intratumoural fat is significant overall, it can be classified as [b]lipomatous[/b][/color][color="#000000"][b] neurofibroma[/b]. This case continues the neural theme. The lesion is a diffuse neurofibroma. Involvement of the subcutaneous fat and the well-formed Meissner's corpuscles in Fig 4 are diagnostic clues.
