Very difficult. Thought of nodular fasciitis but could not find much extraverted RBCs...

Found it extremely difficult too. Thought of myxoid neurofibroma, though did seriously consider nodular fasciitis (no extravasated RBC) & dermal nerve sheath myxoma (doesn't have the right architecture)

Yes Sasi, I could not find extraverted RBCs and I also thought of myxoid NF but the cytological features in fig 4 do not show the nuclei of NF. I have also thought of Nurothekoma (nerve sheath myxoma) but as u said not the typical architecture???? What about myxoid DFSP???? he is so young though???? Very difficult...

Yes Mona. This is a tough one. Myxoid DFSP is a good thought. But as you say, quite young. Might be the answer!

I would suggest Dermal Nodular Fasciitis while at this age group and location it may represent its closely related variant namely Cranial Fasciitis.
