High grade tumor with mixed spindled, epithelioid and dendritic cytology, prominent nucleoli but absence of bizarre pleomorphism, rare multinucleation, cytoplasmic vacuolation. Mass necrosis. Curvilinear, sparse vasculature and tumor infiltrating neutrophils. Variably mucinous stroma without mast cells.
- Grade II myxofibrosarcoma - most common tumor, good match for histology, location/age.
- Myxoid Melanoma (greatly doubt, but rule out)
- Myxoid liposarcoma (greatly doubt, but rule out)
Stains : S100, SOX10, CD34, SMA, Desmin
