Agree with perniosis. Beautifully demonstrated thrombi in dermal papillae vessels and the so-called fluffy edema of vascular wall.
I wish a Merry Christmas to all my dermpath friends.

I called this Gianotti-Crosti. There is mild interface, mild spongiosis and a mild perivascular dermatitis. There is papillary dermal edema It was felt clinically to be viral or Gianotti-Crosti. Given the spongiotic/interface and perivascular dermatitis (not quite lymphocytic vasculitis), and the papillary dermal edema, I went along with the clinical impression of Gianotti-Crosti.
