Agree, Epidermolytic acanthoma. It is not surprising that, although different diseases, the histological alterations are similar to the observed in Epidermolytic hyperkeratosis since both have alterations in Keratin 1 and 10.

Given the case history of a solitary papule of recent onset, I go with epidermolytic acanthoma.
