46 year-old female with a with a long history of guttate pigmented macules and pigmented papules, with predominance on chest (inframammary), axillae and inguinal folds.

[b]Reticulate pigmented anomaly of the flexures (Dowling-Degos disease). Had the acantholytic variant (Galli Galli) as a spotter in the European Board certification exam a couple of years ago. [/b]

Based on pictures solely, I’d called this adenoid seborrheic keratosis, but I changed my mind after reading the case history. It’s Dowling-Degos disease.

Dowling Degos. This picture is classical, very similar to adenoid SK. I had two family cases of DD 4 years ago and I never forget about them.
