With the history provided, one needs to consider congenital self-healing histiocytosis. Of course, follow up is necessary to confirm this diagnosis. On the other hand, if CD1a and S100 don't label many cells like those depicted in the last photo, probably the lesions are just congenital juvenile xanthogranuloma.

My impression is JXG, lesions may present at birth..

Considering lesions are multiple, congenital, located on scalp and reach the subcutaneous fat, I go with congenital self-healing histiocytosis.

I called this JXG, juvenile xanthogranuloma. S100 and CD1a highlighted some dendritic cells but the epithelioid cells were negative, and Langerin was completely negative.
