Given the typical clinical findings and the presence of numerous clefts in some of tumor nodules my first thought is plexiform type of solitary circumscribed neuroma.

Plexiform variant of solitary circumscribed neuroma vs plexiform neurofibroma.
Age and site favour the first. NFP and GFAP would be useful.

Plexiform solitary circumscribed neuroma. Clinical info and imaging studies did not fit plexiform neurofibroma. S100 is positive.
