Small symmetrical lesion with predominantly nested pattern. Spindling and vertical orientation of nests is striking. Although there is some bridging, lentiginous proliferation is not prominent and supra papillary epithelium is spared.
Compound naevus with features of Reed/Spitz group of lesions.

[color=#000000][font=Helvetica][size=3]We struggled with this lesion as it has some features of Reed's/ Spitz but has architectural atypia so was considered mildly atypical. Thanks for your comments and the spectrum of diagnoses reflect our feelings as well. [/size][/font][/color]
