Subtle interface dermatosis with apoptotic keratinocytes and possibly some RBC extravasation in the dermis, agree with drug reaction.

This is impossible without the complete history. This rash developed following a bone marrow transplantation, and the clinical consideration was GVHD, which is what this was called.
