Agree, lichen striatus. Focal interface dermatitis extending to eccrine glands and the clinical history of linear lesion. Patient is of young age, probably.

I would just like to add that the amount of plasma cells is quite particular. Usually you dont see them in this amount

Sorry some clinical was left out - it was from 14 year old male. Clinically the individual papules were said to look like lichen nitidus, ?Linear lichen nitidus

Yes all well done - Lichen striatus for me too (I could not find reference to plasma cells in Akerman's silver book but I guess that's life). Apologies for the poor quality images today - a very pale slide but thought it was a nice example and we don't see it biopsied often here. When the very experienced clinician received the histo report the penny dropped!
Hope to see some of you in New Delhi next week at the ISDP. I have a nice case for the self assessment which I will also put up here in due course.
