Agree. Funny, looks like there is an epithelial induction associated with the benign tumor.

Eruptive syringoma, it is!
Good point about epithelial induction by Igor. Interestingly, the initial levels did not show the syringoma component (sometimes our lab can cut very superficial levels in punches), and the epithelial changes were misinterpreted to represent dermatosis papulosis nigra. Although listed in the clinical d/d, this typically involves the face, which was completely spared in this case. Deeper levels clearly showed the syringoma component.
Thank you everyone for your contributions. I have been filling in for Dr Diwan's absence and we should hopefully have him back next week. It has been a great experience contributing cases to dermpathpro and I hope you have enjoyed some of our Liverpool cases!
