58 year old African American female with history of lupus and several months to year history of hair loss at crown. Biopsy of scalp.

Agree. The is clear evidence of premature desquamation of inner root sheath in the 2nd and 3rd image. Eccentric atrophy, concentric fibroblasis and polytrichia complete the picture Of CCCA. (With the typical clinical presentation as well).
