Combined nevus, deep penetrating(with a clonal type B component), and common intradermal nevus. I don't think this is a nevoid melanoma.

I favor intradermal nevus.

One dermal melanocytic mitotic figure would buy this case deeper cuts to look for more mitoses, and more than one mitosis would necessitate some stains. Ki67 or Ki67/Melan-A for proliferative rate, HMB-45 for maturation gradient, and I generally throw in P16 to see if it is nicely retained as an additional measure of reassurance.

Yes final diagnosis was a benign intradermal naevus. Just looks worrying at the first glance!
