73 year old woman with recurrent erythematous pustules and crust on scalp; history of lupus. R/o lupus.

Endothrix. Easy to miss the fungal elements in the grungy crust. Moral of the story: Look at the crust!! The clinician was quite concerned about lupus and threw us a red herring.
