Benign lesion! Not a verrucous carcinoma! What about a irritated SK?

Well agree it looks rather benign but given the diffuse strong p53, follicular mucin and typical round pushing borders with some cellular atypia I signed it out as a pigmented follicular SCC, pushing only borders, in situ for practical purposes. We hope to publish a small series of pigmented follicular SCC in the near future.

I'll be speaking on fSCC and KA in Lisbon ISDP next month.

Warm regards Richard.
