I´m concerned about this one, would rather call this atypical compound Spitz nevus (Atypical Spitz Tumor). It would be judicious do IHC for p16, if its lost, go to FISH to evaluate homozygous delection on 9p commonly seeing on Spitzoid Melanoma.

On my iPhone it seems a nevoid melanoma.

It is somewhat nevoid but overall more melanomanoid.

Dear All

We called it melanoma after much deliberation - it is definitely a borderline but the dermal nests are atypical and there is pseudo-maturation - these are difficult lesions and worthwhile showing a few colleagues.

Based on these images I'd not give a defiinitive opinion on this case. Small thin, too difficult/subjective. Low risk lesion of uncertain malignancy until proved otherwise. Excision appears adequate.
