Psudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia with dermal suppurative granuloma

PAS or GMS stain needed sir

Suppurative granulomatous inflammation. Differential diagnosis lies between deep fungal infection and atypical mycobacterial infection. PAS, ZN stains and tissue culture required to arrive at the etiological diagnosis.

The final diagnosis was:

Mcobacterium marinum infection (Fish tank granulomas) - which was supported by the clinical history!
