?Telogen effluvium ?Female Androgenic Alopecia. No inflammation. Mild perifollicular fibrosis...favor FAA.

diffuse alopecia

Not much follicular miniaturization, teolgen /catagen hairs seen. Occasional velds hair seen

No inflammation. sebaceous glands seem to be reduced

chronic telogen effluvium with an underlying Pattern hair loss

I don't know why sebaceous glands are reduced. Does he have also some Psoriasis

Dear All 

So first point it there is no scarring - so a non scarring alopecia. The diagnosis is chronic telogen effluvium. The telogen count is over 15 percent and there is no miniturisation. There is no inflammation to suggest alopecia areata.
