I would favour an infundibulo-cystic BCC here.  It would be good to see BerEP4, CD10 and CK20.

Inflamed trichoadenoma. We also thought about an extremely inflamed SK. Luckily it is completely excised. Happy New Year everyone!

More like an Irritated trichoepithelioma to me.

In second thought, the lesion is on the scalp of an older individual, Dr Logan idea of infundibulocytic type BCC clearly need be considered.
