Possible sarcoidosis-induced alopecia . Special stains for acid-fast bacili and fungi are necessary. Systemic evaluation for lung and lymph node sarcoidosis as well.

Yes! Sarcoidosis. 

multiple  granulomas with more of longhand giant cells. a few eosinophils are seen. there is not much of foreign body giant cells. the granulomas have dense infiltrate of inflammatory cells

get GMS stain and PCR done. for me it is a tuberculoid granuloma

HRCT lung and bronchoalveolar biopsy. get biochemical enzymes serum lysosome and ACE done

sarcoidosis would b last in the list

infectious aetiologies were excluded. Sarcoidosis was confirmed by radiological and laboratory work-up.
