Favor DPN. Differential with Spitz Nevus.

Good point. Looks benign. I favor Spitz. Bete-catenin might be helpful to rule out/confirm DPN.

Inflamed Spots nevus. There were some mitotic figures, which is not a surprise. We recommended a re excision with narrow margins.

Regarding stains, it's important to figure out what the role of the test is. Would we recommend a re excision regardless of whether beta catenin is positive or negative? Stains should be used for management purposes, especially with overlapping atypical diagnoses.
