Superficial, multifocal BCC - peripheral pigmentation is a common clinical feature.

Saw this phenomena pretty common: basaloid proliferations seen in background of pigmented macular SK. The nature of those basaloid proliferation actually is regarded as mostly hamartomatous rather that true SBCC. I am sure there are  rare "true SBCC" among those as reported before.  here is the reference:
