I think it is one of the Adult orbital xanthogranulomatous diseases, which is of 4 types : adult onset xanthogranuloma , adult onset asthma with periocular xanthogranuloma, Erdheim-Chester disease, and necrobiotic xanthogranuloma. Histologically all 4 types are overlapping, the distinction relies on clinical correlation.

agree, also add Rosai dorfman disease, IHC panel is needed as prognosis and further lab investigations are different in each

Adult onset periorbial XG. Rosai dorfman was excluded via IHC. Patient currently being worked up for erdheim Chester dz as there are some bone changes as well.
