Herpesvirus infection in the setting of immunodeficiency. The intraepidermal vesiculation and necrosis of the sebaceous gland is noteworthy suggesting herpetic folliculitis.

Herpes folliculitis in setting of Immunocompromise due to chemotherapy. Hsv immunohistochemistry +.

I’m late. Yes. My spot was “Difficult case of HV-folliculitis” ( necrotic single cells are a clue, but the nuclear ground glass is just barely guessed in second pic. Thanks Uma for this amazing case.
