Deep-seated ruptured hair follicle, remnants of hair shaft containing hyphae and spores, associated with surrounding septic granuloma.

Majocchi's granuloma. Was not able to elicit this history. Good idea to look for deep fungal in unlikely cases.

Majocchi granuloma, hyphae within the hair follicle, which ruptured, resulting in massive dermal inflammatory reaction with neutrophils
