Suprabasal acantholysis.  At this age, and with this clinical description Grover's is the most likely diagnosis.

Half Darier-like, half PV-like + clinical history-->> agree with Grover.

Yes, based on clinicopathological correlation, this was diagnosed as Grover's disease. I thought it is a beautiful example of the value of clinicopathological correlation in dermpath.
