48 year old female with urosepsis and bilateral diffuse bruise like lesions on the breasts with scaling. Note
– there is heavy inking of the specimen with violet ink.

There is occlusive vasculopathy and last picture shows bluish material within the vessel. Ecthyma gangrenosum

Diffuse dermal angiomatosis of the breast is to be considered in the differential diagnosis.

Erythema multiforme ( maybe drug-induced ) with some septic associated eccrine duct changes.

Drug induced erythema multiforme, overlapping with Stevens Johnson syndrome. We surmised that she also had sepsis related vasculopathy.
