There is upper to deep dermal perivascular / periadnexal lymphocytic infiltrate with interstitial mucin. Features evoke a consideration of Reticular erythematosus mucinosis. Other differential of 5Ls i.e. Jessner's lymphocytic infiltrate, syphilis PMLE also come under d/d. CPC required, although, mucin favours REM.

Granuloma annulare. This was the clinical diagnosis. While interstitial mucin is present, there are also histiocytes. Treponemal stains are negative.
