In the deeper part, the nevus cell nests show some balloon cell change, nuclear pleomorphism and abnormal mitoses. I think that this is nevoid melanoma developing in a nevus.

WNT-activitated-Deep Penetrating Nevus,combined with common BRAF-mutated nevus. 

Looks like DPN (soon to be named WNT activated melanocytoma). In these I like to order LEF1, PRAME and βCatenin just to be sure

The epithelioid (DPN) component showed strong nuclear and cytoplasmic expression of β-catenin, and the congenital nevus was negative.  The melanocytes were negative for PRAME.  The clinician requested a myPath melanoma gene expression profile and the score suggested a benign neoplasm.  Thank you for reviewing the case and for your comments.
